About

dougsmethodsofsavingmoney is a blog that presents an ordinary guy’s collection of ways to save money.  No magic bullets.  No get-rich-quick schemes.  Just ways to save a little here and a little there.  It adds up.  There are also some posts on other topics, some more-or-less related to personal finance, some not so much.

Why do it?  Why economize and save money?  The goal is to spend less so you can invest more and thus be able to live better when you retire or perhaps retire early.  For more details, see Why Save?
